ANABELLA is part of FLORAntastic storytelling, a series of products, inspired by plants and flowers and the personal connections and
stories that
people associate with them.

ANABELLA is the first product in the design line of FLORAntastic storytelling. It is inspired by the story of a woman named Anabella who was born and raised in Chile and lives in the Netherlands now. Her connection with the leaves of the Verbena plant describes a story of missing, homesickness and being far away from home. I translated this touching story into four ceramic tea cups. Every cup has a unique positive leaf print and a matching saucer with the negative print. Even though the tea cups also fit in the other saucers, they will never fit perfectly. Just like people they only have one place where they are truly at home.

ANABELLA is a handmade product that comes with a cup and a saucer. Each piece is unique and may varies in finish, size and colour.
