Inspiration for personal work

One of the recurring themes in my personal work is nature. May it be flowers and plants that were collected, pressed and illustrated by hand. Or a ceramic cup called Anabella that holds much more that only an imprint of the plant Verbena. Preserving, admiring and telling a story with these subjects is a key element. I am hoping that my work inspires you to look around you with open eyes, explore and see the beauty in the simpel things in life, may it be at home or during your travels.

Handmade illustrations

I am an analog artist and I mainly work with traditional materials like coloured pencils, watercolour and gouache. After I finish a piece I scan and use Adobe programs to digitalize my work. It can be found on various products: postcards, calendars and phone wallpapers for example.

Handmade ceramics

With a background in product design I also love to work in 3D. Ceramics are a great way for me to express my visions and create them by hand on the turning wheel or with handmade molds. Most of my ceramics are wheel thrown, but I also have experience with slip casting. Every now and then I also launch a limited edition of ceramics that you can also purchase in my shop.
